Valo Walkthrough

Valo is a straightforward drawing game that is great for casual gamers. Valo features simple graphics, soothing music, and gameplay that is simple but addictive.

The objective of Valo is to collect all blue squares on a stage to advance to the next level before time runs out. Red squares are to be avoided since they reduce health. Green squares add bonus points to your score. Purple squares can be collected for additional time and yellow squares can be collected to restore health. If you run out of time or health, the game is over.

Although Valo is classified as a drawing game, no actual drawing takes place, but the mechanics and controls of a drawing game are used. Click and drag to collect colored squares. If you have a drawing tablet, it may help to use it since tablets allow finer control in comparison to the mouse.

Your performance in Valo is timed. The faster that you finish a level, the more points you will earn for its completion. Sometimes it is a good idea to take it slow in order to collect other colored squares such as green squares which increase your score or yellow squares which increase your health. The level automatically ends when all blue squares are collected, so if you want to collect other colors, be sure to do so before collecting that last blue square.

Avoiding red squares is extremely important in Valo. Your health is limited, and collecting ten red squares without collecting yellow squares to restore health will result in game over. Your health is not automatically restored between levels in this drawing game, so you must do all that you can to avoid contacting red squares if you want to stay in the game. Beware that unlike the good squares, you do not have to have the mouse button down for red squares to be collected!
